Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 is a combination of two of the most crucial baby items: strollers and infant car seats. It makes it easier to get on and off public transport (and walk up and down the stairs).

One of the best options is the Doona infant car seat and stroller combo. It's the world's first completely integrated travel system that lets you to switch between the car seat and stroller in seconds without disturbing your sleeping baby.

Easy to Use

Parents must have a stroller and car seat combination that is simple to use. These travel systems let you easily switch between running errands or walking your dog and going for an outing. They also aid in keeping up with your child's changing needs, so that you can concentrate on your family adventures. Our test subjects are awed by how easily and smoothly these travel systems glide, regardless of whether they have one front wheel or a swiveling rear wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain pro combo, and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are all easy to move. However,  pram 2 in 1  and Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be moved with one hand.

Certain models are difficult to attach or remove from the base. The Doona Combo, for example requires a two-step attach process and straps that slide over the infant's bottom portion. It may be tempting to bypass these steps, but this could lead to dangerous results.

Some models are more difficult to fold or store than others, making them less practical. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold due its large dimensions and heavy frames. The model also has a small canopy that some test users find disappointing. On the other hand it is the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is simple to fold with just a pull of an lever and the push of an button. This model is an excellent option for parents who wish to use their car seat in other cars, since it is able to be removed from the base.

Easy to Fold

It doesn't matter if you're keeping the car seat on its own or in the trunk of your car or even in a closet, it should be easy to fold and unfold. The best combinations we've tested fold easily in one hand and are durable enough to use on long walks. They're also simple to move, sliding effortlessly over bumps and uneven surfaces. Certain combos are only attached and detached by straps. This may seem like a step in the back, and can make it harder for parents to secure their car seat properly.

We are awestruck by the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo for its convenient features and sturdy construction which include a large storage basket that's accessible from front to back. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it simple to secure a car seat installation simply by connecting the lower anchors by pulling the straps tightly and clicking the carrier into the base.

It's also relatively lightweight which makes it a great option for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo, and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored highly in our user-friendliness tests. Both come with one front wheel that's easy to push (one-handed! Both have a single front wheel which is easy to push (one-handed!). They also come with a flexible spinner wheel, ideal for running errands and shopping. The only issue is that they're quite heavy and can be difficult to lift up when a baby is in a car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combos can be difficult to put together. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the simplest travel systems to assemble. It comes with a helpful guide. Other models, such as the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also simple to assemble. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, on the other hand, is difficult to assemble. It requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors as well as using straps to protect the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, so it requires two hands to snap the carrier into the base and then remove it from there.

In our tests it took us around 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together. This is relatively fast when you consider the amount of time it saves by not having to take out the pieces. The toddler seat can be attached and removed with ease on most of these models.
